The Lynd Co., a residential real estate company located in San Antonio offers this twist on a corporate headquarters: a museum.
According to an article in Commercial Property Executive, the company has just broken ground on a new corporate headquarters in Shavano Park, TX.
“The three-story office building will encompass 35,000 square feet with an open floor plan and contemporary design, including a two-floor lobby and an all-glass elevator. The third-floor executive offices will wrap around a mezzanine, while the offices and conference rooms will feature butt-glazed glass,” according to the article.
And: “The property will include a 1,200-square-foot military museum on the ground floor, which will display artifacts and memorabilia from the Vietnam War, where company Founder Michael Lynd Sr. served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army. Invest in America’s Veterans Foundation will sublease the museum area, which will be open to the public. Additionally, Lynd will host periodic, free lunches for veterans on the building’s rooftop terrace.”
