WeWork, which has been among the players that are revolutionizing co-working spaces, is now targeting corporate headquarters.

According to a report in the San Francisco Chronicle, “Since August, WeWork has offered stand-alone private offices with a new program called HQ by WeWork. As with its co-working spaces, WeWork signs the office lease, designs and builds the interiors, and manages the facilities. Then it rents space to companies for one to three years, shorter periods than traditional headquarters deals but longer than month-to-month co-working commitments.”

“WeWork signed its first HQ by WeWork deal at 800 Market St. with Movable Ink, a marketing software company that moved in this month…Movable Ink wanted to stay downtown near transit and liked the idea of a short-term commitment. It signed a 5,445-square-foot, two-year lease with WeWork. The 27-employee office now has space to grow to around 42 people.”
